Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before downloading, installing, or using PillPulse. By accessing or using the application or website, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing, copying, or utilizing PillPulse ("the Application"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, discontinue use immediately.

2. License Grant

PillPulse grants you a personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and royalty-free license to download, install, and execute the Application on personal mobile devices solely for your personal medication tracking and reminder assistance.

You may not redistribute, reverse-engineer, decompile, or commercialize modified packages of the application without prior written consent.

⚠️ 3. CRITICAL MEDICAL DISCLAIMER

PillPulse is an informational reminder tool only. It is NOT a certified medical device and NOT a substitute for professional medical care, physician advice, or clinical pharmacist guidance.

  • No Medical Decision Making: PillPulse does not check for drug-drug interactions, contraindications, dosage errors, or adverse allergic reactions. Always follow prescription labels and instructions from your licensed healthcare provider.
  • Alarms Are Supplementary: Mobile notifications, device alarms, and app reminders can fail due to device battery-saver modes, system updates, "Do Not Disturb" settings, or hardware faults. Do NOT rely solely on PillPulse for critical, time-sensitive, or life-sustaining medications.
  • User Responsibility: You and your designated caregivers remain solely responsible for verifying the accuracy of medication schedules, correct pill dosages, and proper administration.
  • Medical Emergencies: If you suspect a medical emergency, adverse medication reaction, or overdose, call your local emergency services (e.g., 911 / 112) or contact a poison control center immediately.

4. Local Data Storage & Backup Responsibility

PillPulse operates with a 100% local-first storage architecture. Your medication list and dosage history reside exclusively on your device.

We maintain no remote servers or cloud backups. You are solely responsible for managing device backups and keeping records of your prescriptions. We bear no liability for lost logs due to device damage or app uninstallation.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

The Application codebase, alarm scheduling logic, interface components, and logos are the proprietary intellectual property of PillPulse developers and protected under international copyright treaties.

6. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree to use PillPulse solely for lawful personal health tracking and not to engage in unauthorized reverse engineering or redistribution.

PillPulse is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, whether express, statutory, or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular medical purpose, or 100% alarm reliability.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall PillPulse or its developers be liable for missed doses, health complications, hospitalizations, medication errors, or any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Application.
